About Dhaka Education Board
Founded in 1921, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka is the oldest and largest education board in Bangladesh — roughly one in five SSC candidates nationwide sits under it.
The board was set up in 1921. Its head office is in Bakshibazar, Dhaka. The board makes question papers, runs the exam centers, checks answer scripts and publishes the SSC Result 2026 for 13 districts (Dhaka, Gazipur, Narayanganj, Narsingdi, Munshiganj, Manikganj, Kishoreganj, Tangail, Faridpur, Gopalganj, Madaripur, Rajbari, Shariatpur). In SSC 2025 the pass rate was 67.51%. 37,068 students got GPA-5, out of about 4,01,000+ examinees from 4,300+ institutions.

Institutions under Dhaka Education Board no longer get printed result sheets by courier. The board serves a paperless result. A head of institution can download the full, signed candidate list with the EIIN, minutes after publication:

Rescrutiny at Dhaka Board
Not happy with a grade? Dhaka Education Board can re-check the answer script. This is called rescrutiny (board challenge). Apply by SMS from a Teletalk prepaid SIM between 21 and 27 July 2026. Type RSC DHA <roll> <subject code> and send it to 16222. Join more subject codes with commas. The reply shows the total fee — Tk 150 per paper — and a PIN. Confirm with RSC YES <PIN> <contact number>. Rescrutiny re-counts marks and finds unmarked answers. Changed results publish within about a month.
